WHAT IS REINFORCEMENT?
Due to the fact that our country is in the earthquake zone and the existing structures have been completed, serious damage is being caused to only one building.
Methods related to structural strengthening can be grouped into three main groups as strengthening with FRP System, strengthening with FRCM System and sheathing strengthening. FRP and FRCM systems are reinforcement forms made with technical textile reinforcements, they are more innovative than the sheathing system and provide convenience in application. The sheathing system, on the other hand, is a strengthening method applied together with the traditional cement and epoxy systems.
