Basalt fiber is generally produced and used as stone wool in our country. However, with the production of continuous fiber by melting the basalt rocks discovered by Soviet Russia during space studies, it has become suitable for composite textile production and is used as an alternative to today’s glass fiber and carbon fiber. Due to its unique structure, basalt fibers do not rot or oxidize. It is frequently used in salt and other chemical component implementations, especially in the construction industry.
